The Ceremony
The 2008 National Wetlands Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. The reception and ceremony will be held in the Caucus Room of the Cannon House Office Building, which is located Southeast of the Capitol on Independence Ave., SE, between First Street, SE, and New Jersey Ave., SE. The main entrance for this building is located at the corner of New Jersey Ave., SE, and Independence Ave., SE. The closest Metro stop is Capitol South on D St. SE between 1st and 2nd St. SE. The reception will start at 6:00pm and the ceremony will begin at 6:30.
