Bruce G. Mountain

The Photo used with permission from the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation1998 Outstanding Program Development Award Winner, Mr. Mountain is busy providing assistance to landowners in the Wetlands Reserve Program and using the program's easement funds to finance the enhancement and development of wetland complexes and riverine corridors in the Prairie Pothole Region.

Continuing his work as the Land Projects Director at the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, Mr. Mountain works with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Iowa county conservation boards to provide additional wetland and adjacent upland habitat in key resource areas for public recreation.

Mr. Mountain recently won the Iowa Pheasants Forever's 2008 Professional Excellence Award.
